Learning to Control the Chaos

Wow! Time has flown by and my life has been more than a little chaotic over the past year and a half, but I am back and ready to share with you again. I realized after hearing from many of you (my readers) that my blog was helpful and very much missed. I am committing to you to post monthly, if not more about life, wellness and other useful tips. This episode of the blog, I will spend time getting everyone up to date on my adventures and how I have dealt with/am still learning to navigate all that life is throwing my way.

In October of 2024, I added a sweet, little, chaotic tornado to my life in the form of a long-haired dachshund puppy that I named Wildman Willie the Weiner. He has added so much joy and love to my life! He is a great companion and very entertaining with loads of personality. Most of the time Willie helps to keep me calm and grounded. When I am needing to take a break from the stress of life or needing a reason to smile, Willie is right there waiting to play tug or give one of his famous kisses. This is one way I can bring calm to the chaos in my life.

Another change I made to my life was retiring from the Kansas City Chiefs Red Coater program, at the end of the 2024 season, to pursue different volunteer opportunities that came available. I remain a Chiefs football fan and season ticket holder. By prioritizing my schedule and interests, I am finding more enjoyment in both football games and volunteering. This has brought several opportunities to meet new people and support different charities and organizations with my time and talents. I believe these opportunities would have been overlooked if I did not take time to do some much needed soul searching. Remembering to prioritize what excites me and not overextending myself is the second way I can bring calm into my life.

Before I end this edition of the blog, I want to share with you some of the oils I have been relying on to help keep me grounded. I will just list them here: Peace & Calming, Northern Lights Black Spruce, Calm, Frankincense and Bergamot. There are several more oils and blends from Young Living that help in the grounding process, these are just the ones I have been reaching for lately. If you are interested in experiencing this blend or any of Young Living’s essential oils, contact me to schedule a time to meet. I welcome the opportunity to coach you in your wellness journey by exploring how YL Products can enhance this journey!

Whether this is your first time reading my blog, or you are a loyal subscriber, Thank you! I am so glad you tuned in this week!
